Brother Louis Bell, Jr.
Bro. Louis Bell, Jr. is a lifelong Daytona Beach, Florida native and attended public schools in the Volusia County Schools system. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Bethune-Cookman University, in 1980. Bro. Bell was baptized at a young age at the Martin Luther King Jr. Church of Christ, in Daytona Beach, Florida. On September 18, 1994, he was ordained as a deacon at Westside Church of Christ. While laboring at Westside, Bro. Bell has served as a song leader, vacation bible school teacher, hospitality leader, on the transportation ministry, and assists wherever a helping hand is needed. One of his favorite scriptures is Galatians 6:9-10 (KJV): “And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.”
Bro. Bell has been married to Norma Bell, from Jamaica, W.I., since May 3, 1980. They have been blessed with two amazing adult daughters, Rokaisha (Duwayne) Pelham and Shivonne (Jonathan) Bennett, and four wonderful grandchildren, Maliyah Bennett, Dominique Pelham, Jaylah Bennett, and Duwayne Pelham.
In his recreational time, Bro. Bell enjoys cruising, football, and other sporting activities.
